Skipping periods now and then is actually normal, it can fluctuate with stress, physical activity, change in diet, and other variables. Your body is just regulating itself, you should be on track in the upcoming month, but if none of these things fit with what is happening in your life, you could always go to the OBGYN and get a pro's opinion! :-)

This is very normal and natural. When you are young your period is trying to get on a cycle. It may skip here and there and that is totally okay. Lots of things can disrupt your period. If you start exercising and lose some weight that may disrupt it. Changing your diet, any routine you have, moving, stress, there are so many things that can effect your cycle. My cycle gets off track when the seasons change. I may miss an entire period all together when the seasons change. You have nothing to worry about. If you continue to go without a period for months at a time you may just want to check in with your doctor. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

There are a few reasons why you might have skipped your period..

Might have something to do with being on the pill...
Or it can also be because you have lost some weight recently, that also affects your period, or maybe you are just stressed out..?

It's probably nothing to worry about - it's normal to miss periods, but if you don't have one next week you should consult your doctor. Either way you will be fine so chillax!

Depending on your age it could be normal. I know lots of girls that aren't regular on their period and it makes it hard on them because they really never know when they are going to get it. If you're young and still live at home then talk to your mother about going to see your doctor and talk to him/her about it and if this is a common thing then they can do things like put you on birth control to regulate your period. Just remember, birth control does not give anyone an excuse to go out and have sex. I'm a firm believer that it should be saved for marriage. Just thought I would through that in there. Hope this helps.

Your first line of explanation shows that you have little understandinig of man, religion or science. Man has not been religious since the dawn of time at all. Dead were not buried for religious reasons initially. Because there was a certain amount of reverence or sadness is simply a human condition. They were burnt or buried not to appease any gods or the like but rather that man learned very early that if they weren't then they stank. Talking about the Egyptians or druids as if they were the beginning of humans is ignorant. Man was around for many thousands of years prior to that. As to explaining the unexplainable. That is a bit of an oxymoron. There is nothing to explain in the paranormal as there is no paranormal. There are no spirits or ghosts. Mental disorder is not unexplainable and most certainly is not "paranormal" Pantheism is not paranormal - it is a doctrine which identifies god with the universe. Deep science?? what do you mean by that, there are various definitions of "deep science". Religion gives the "god did it" explanation for things as an easy out rather than actually attempting to investigate and determine the causes of things. Many things in "ancient" times which people believed were "supernatural" are very easy to explain these days as science and knowledge has moved on. We no longer think that the "gods" are appeased by making human sacrifices etc. Time you stopped thinking so much - it obviously is not doing you any good.

Sometimes in the beginning of getting your period the first couple of years it is very irregular. Also stress and life changes can affect your period as well. If you are sure there is no way you could be pregnant just relax and give it time.

Omfg, i hate it when ppl type in capitals here! It is either because u r unhealthy so u might have lost your period (oh, no!) or you just got it recently like a few months ago so it will act kinda "irregular". Usually u miss it for two or even three months b4 it comes back so be prepared!

If you are exercising heavily or seriously stressed out, that can cause you to miss a period. You say you're NOT pregnant--have you taken a pregnancy test? Are you taking any other meds? You ought to consult a doctor after missing two periods.

In March my period did not come at all and I wasn't preggers cuz you have to have sex for that...LOL. It came the next month although it was heavier than normal. I have no idea why it happened but nothing was wrong. My best friends cycle is irregular like yours but nothing is wrong with her.

It could be that nothing is wrong, but you should probably call your Doctor just in case. If you don't have a Doctor or can't afford one, you can call Planned Parenthood. Even though you aren't pregnant, they provide advice on such matters.
