As a multi-decade veteran of the software engineering field I can tell you that increasing your mental ability is of limited value. What you really need to do is learn to subsist on 15 minutes of sleep a night and a diet consisting only of cold pizza and skittles.

Self hypnosis is a waste of time. To become a good programmer you can try any of the schools across the nation that teach and have programming degree's. At any rate you will need good math skills, and do a lot of reading and writing.

No self-hypnosis.
Learn Boolean Algebra,
Learn Discrete Structures in Mathematics,
Learn Programming concepts like pointers, binary search trees, sort algorithms, through Java.
Embrace Object-Oriented programming,
and wear sunscreen.
Basically, learn Computer Science, then program.
*Even genius programmers sit and pull their hair out over stupid errors, logical or syntactical.

Unfortunately for you, great computer programmers are born, not made. If you do not have the aptitude to start with, you will only go so far. It is a sort of mental quirk or anomaly which you may inherit but never acquire by other means.

WTF?
Self hypnosis is bullshit for idiots who want the easy way to get stuff. It doesnt work, its all fake.
You can become a great anything by working hard, trying alot and learning as much as you can.
There is no shortcut to anything in life. There is nothing magical that will help you get anything.

Judging by your typing skills, you will have a lot of work to do. Programming requires intense attention to detail and problem-solving skills. That's not to mention the intense mathematical precision you have to ascertain. Start with school.
