If they seem like they wanna talk I will yak away. I see no strangers. I know it can get you in trouble but I can't help it. We live in a small town and everyone is friendly around here. We are a very speaking town, and very Welcoming to everyone! All the tourist say they really love How friendly we are! They must, because we are loaded with them.

Depends. If the shop assistant is being a moron, or something is going wrong I will comment to the person next to me. But if its all going normally then Ill keep quiet.

i either be on the phone,reading the lastest magazine,if im with someone talking to them or standing quietly.

I sometimes talk to them if we're there for a while. At Christmas, you tend to form a camp mentality in the Morrisons' checkoiut queues.

Depends. If I try to talk to them, and they don't say much, I shut up and don't talk to them anymore. On the other hand, if they talk to me and act interested in what I'm saying, I talk to them. I'm notorious for having conversations with the cashiers at Wal-Mart.

i will talk if they start the conversation. i have a friend who always starts talking with people in stores or when we are out to eat. it is funny to watch other people's reactions... most of the time they take a second and then enjoy the conversation.
