I do agree that what he did to those dogs was very wrong, but they were being extremely harsh on him, I mean they didn't have to kick him out of the NFL. He apologized, couldn't that be enough. Why couldn't they just give him a higher fine to pay and let that be it? How do you feel about this?

Yes, I do feel bad for Michael Vick. Even though what he did was very wrong, the whole situation was blown out of proportion. Let's all remember that these are animals, and not humans. People abuse children everyday and nobody says anything about it, but because Vick is a famous athlete, people think hes a terrible person. He said he's sorry so just get over it already.

What Vick did was ILLEGAL!!!!! And immoral. "I'm sorry" does'nt begin to "cover" what HE did!
What he did was stupid, too. He's got all this "money & fame" and he blew it on something as disgusting as that.
But Mike Vick, un-whittingly, saved the Atlanta Falcons from more years of embarrasment. Vick was/is a great "athelete", but a poor QB. The team put a lot into "marketing" around Vick. No way would they cut, or trade him after investing so much into the "hype" of Mike Vick.
Don't feel sorry for him, learn from his mistake.

An apology? That's enough?! Are ya kidding?

He needs to be penalized & learn a lesson. Just because he's rich and a professional athlete doesn't mean the law doesn't apply to him. He has a gift that allowed him to live in a world that few people ever glimpse or inhabit, and he p!ssed it away by making stoooopid decisions. I think jail time & loss of $100+ million should be sufficient to show him the error of his ways. If not, he is dumber than a sack of hammers.

He hasn't been kicked out of the league forever, and he's welcome to apply for reinstatement once he's out of prison and has served his NFL time, too.

His punishment is in line with what Roger Goodell has done to others since taking over in the role of commissioner. And Michael Vick knew all along that he was doing something both illegal and outside the NFL's code of conduct, so I'm not going to shed any tears for him. He did the crime, now he's doing the time. All of these problems are self-inflicted.

the only component i've got faith undesirable approximately is each and all the little ones who had to benefit their idol being in touch in unlawful dogs scuffling with. those little ones who claimed Michael Vick to be their idol are people who're dropping by the wayside. Vick opitimized the scrambling QB. in case you ask todays youthful scambling black QBs, I assure all will declare Michael Vick because of the fact the reason they play QB. So, i've got faith undesirable for those little ones.

I feel that he should be treated with the same respect, compassion and mercy that he showed to the dogs. SO lets get his @$$ kicked by a bunch of bigger guys until he is half dead, electricute him, almost drown him and then hang him. I'm sure he wont mind getting what he was dishing out.

I don't feel sorry for Vick in the least.

He should get plenty of jail time and refund the money that was advanced him by the Falcons.

I hope he gets put in a cell with a dog-loving, man rapist who is a member of the Aryan Brotherhood. I think that would constitute true justice. Vick is a worthless steaming pile of feces.

Any person who is making 50 million a year and is a role model for kids, but likes to illegally fight dogs for a couple of grand is an idiot and they get what they deserve.

Feel bad for the dogs, not Michael. He'll be eligible for the NFL when he is done anyway.
What he did to those dogs was totally wrong!!
