Yes, I did. And at times, still do. I was picked on a lot by my older brother, neighbours, my dad's best friend's kids, and school mates.

My spouse has helped me to overcome, because he loves me for who I am, no matter what. Whenever something bad happens in my life though, the self-esteem issues resurface. You just need to press on, and realize that there is more to life than what other people think of you.

I was wondering WTF when I tried to answer the first time and it was deleted.

Yes had it, yes know what caused it and still working to over come it. Therapy for multiple years has helped, but it usually won't go away on its own. If you have it, please work with someone to help you achieve a better feeling of yourself. So many people can take advantage of you and can see it just by very small gestures and things you may say. There are people out there that prey on young folks with low self esteem. Most of them are pedofiles and can pick it out in a blink of an eye. So PLEEEEEEEAAAAASSSSEEEE get help if you are having this problem.

Yes, I did. From age 6 all the way up until age 17. My parents and other students helped cause it and I over came it by just packing my gear and leaving for Alaska.
No more self esteem problems.

I think we all do at some point in our lives. Some have symptoms that are more severe and can not hide the pain. Some people mask the problems better by becoming social butterflies.

Thank God, I never really suffered from it for any distinguishable period of time.

Yes I did,and I still suffer from low self esteem as an adult.

I think alot of it was caused from neglect on my parents part, and alot of it was because I was extremely shy.

Lots of counseling over the years has helped me.But learning to love myself has been key to my success.

Yes, I experienced that.

I believe that my issues came from an extremely unhealthy family and the death of two sisters, in close succession, leaving me with survivor guilt and anxiety, and questioning why I was allowed to live.

It took years of introspection but yes, its within reach to correct those feelings within yourself.
