I patched into this once and wondered the same, its complete b*****ks, if its the same programme, the one that looks like the main character is high on drugs. I wouldn't let my kids watch it that's for sure. Sad to say i would think it comes from US, or at least is influenced by it, what;s wrong with TV companies these days. And i couldn't print what i want about the teletubbies otherwise i would get a violation notice!!!

Lazy Town is cool! All the little ones at my cousins playgroup love it too, and as someone else said it gets them up and moving. I think it's just the really bright colours that make it seem a bit odd. The Night Garden is just weird though, at my school, (A high school), we watched it one wet lunchtime it was so funny. And Iggle Piggle looks like a cross between a jelly bean and a viagra pill!

If you think that's bad, you've really gotta see 'in the night garden', which is a drug-fuelled bender if ever there was one.
Higgle Piggle, Upsy Daisy, a thing that looks like an animated chud called 'Makka Pakka'... it's hilarious. And what do they do all day? Fall over and laugh!
Their section on the Cbeebies website is just as bad...

My daughter loves Lazy Town. Instead of lounging on the sofa when it's on, she jumps up and joins in with all the dance routines. I have no problem with it; it's a lot better than some of the tripe that's masquerading as kids' tv.
Plus the songs are really catchy! All together now..."Teamwork, do it together"!

Sorry, can't answer this one as I've never seen it.
My kids grew up in the Sesame Street, Pigeon Street, Rainbow, Mr Pipkins, Captain Pugwash era. At least these had subtle things to entertain the adults too!

i actually like lazy town, i would much rather my kids watch this than fighting based programmes like power rangers. the only thing that bugs me is the theme tune sticks in my head and i end up singing it all day. doesn't go down too well at work where i am supposed to be sophisticated and with it!!!!

Lazytown is a trip and Robbie Rotten is the coolest guy on tv lol. My 3 year old gets up and boogies with all the songs and her little brother is even getting in on the act (sometimes mum does too - but only for the pirate song). When I first saw it I was going 'WTF!' and as for Stephanie and Sportacus....well, where's a deranged sniper when you need one? But my kids love it and you gotta love anything that gives you a quiet 25minutes or so.
