favourable traits:

confidence, empathy, 'sense of humour', self-directiveness, responsiveness to the world/curiousity, being 'interesting'/thinking laterally, enthusiasm/energy.

not all traits are fixed - people change all the time.

be open and interested in what and who is around you.
do things you're good at, and take measured risks (try new things you're likely to be good at, and therefore more likely to enjoy).
challenge yourself every day; exercise your creativity; develop hobbies.
take on leadership opportunities when they come up. engage with your community.
keep energy levels up - move around, pick up a sport.
stop watching tv.
get off the internet (saying this last one to myself :) )

well, you have to develop a personality... you can't really not have one...

as far as being favorable... thats more or less subjective; generally a positive environment and upbringing combined with some hardships along the way so that you can always empathize with those less fortunate than you...

You already have one, you just need to be open minded, confident with yourself, and positive. The rest comes natural and before you know it, you will be considered a person with a good personality.

Primarily, Home .and people surrounding us plays a significant role in shaping our personality....

It started when we were stil in the womb of our mother........we are like empty vessel...Thus, .the personality is the product of our responses both ...to internal and external factors....
