I seem to recall a photo of Hitler dancing and laughing as he won concessions from the great appeaser Chamberlain.

Many times on film he was caught laughing. One very well publicized clip shows the idiot laughing when France was forced to surrender to Germany in 1940 at Compiegne, a forest north of Paris. This is the same spot where twenty-two years earlier the Germans had signed the Armistice ending World War I. Hitler intended to disgrace the French and avenge the German defeat. To further deepen the humiliation, he ordered that the signing ceremony take place in the same railroad car that hosted Germany's surrender to the Allies in WWI. You can find a picture of Hitler grinning like a fool at the location I have provided below....... It's about 3/4 of the way down the page. (On a special note: The allies used this action against him by altering the news-film and making it appear that he was dancing like an idiot... the propaganda worked...people considered him to be insane.)

I'm sure he wasn't giggling at Jesse Owens' 4 gold medals after Hitler cited the superior race quote.

Sure he did. He was just a man.
I imagine his sense of humor to be somewhat obtuse as that of a much older person, a square, a bigot, a racist, and many times at the expense of others' folly.
(ie., A german Archie Bunker who likes the 3-Stooges and such)
I'm sure that many times he probably laughed 1st at things nobody else found funny; then the rest of the crowd would all laugh too just to appease him.
