I wanted to know from previous experience from anyone if a pregnancy occured if you failed to take the pills at at the exact same time each day. I have missed taking my pills by a few mins or so but within the say hour. For example, my meds are due at 12:30pm every day. Sometimes I forget and take them at 12:45, 12:40, etc. Does this decrease the effectiveness or does it apply to when you miss the pill by a few hours or days? The name of my pill is Ortho-Novum 7/7/7?

As long as you are within an hour or two, you should be fine (that's what my doctor told me). I was always forgetful with my pill and I never got pregnant while I was on it.

A few minutes doesn't make much of a difference rule of thumb is to take a medication of any kind one hour BEFORE or one hour AFTER the regular time and you should be all right. If you fail to take the pill at the proper time it would be a good idea to use another form of protection to be on the safe side. Good luck

A few minutes shouldn't make a difference.

nope its fine as long as you take them within the recommended 6-12hr window.
If you leave it that late make sure you use other protection.
