No I am afraid to tell you Love really does exist. It has many forms and faces, but it is all love. Think about how people feel about their children. Now that is love. If you are refereeing Romantic love between two people then that is just as real. That is how is can make or seem to destroy us at times. It can be a wonderful thing, but I know form experience you have to screw love up a few times before you get it tight. There are a lucky few that get it right the first time, but that is rare.

Love does exist, but not at first sight. You have to go through a lot of trials together before you will realize what it is all about. I have been with my wife for 4 years, and only recently does it feel like everyday I love her more and more for no apparent reason I can think of than I have matured and gotten my priorities straight.

Love exists. I take the view of there being chemical reactions and synapses in the brain that causes us to "feel" these intangible emotions. Love is equally as real as hatred, frustration, empathy, sadness, et al.
Do you believe that the other emotions exist? If so, then love must also. Whether every person experiences it is based upon a variety of factors, the first and foremost being your own genes and disposition.

Good question. I think brotherly & sisterly does exist because I love my younger siblings more than life itself & I don't think it could be selfish love because they can't do anything for me. Now that other type of love i don't know, I've never personally been in love but I hope it does or else society has set us up on false hope.

For real love to exist, we have to erase the boundaries between ourselves and our beloved. We have to, in some sense, lose our concept of self and adopt a concept of completeness. It is the transformation from "I-it" to "I - Thou".
I think it is not possible without God.

Love exists on many levels, you can love a dear friend, you can love your animals, you can even love yourself. If you can't experience love on one of these levels, you are surely missing out on something special, it's ok to be selfish when it comes to love.

Like so many other things in our lives, love is a concept. It is not a tangible thing. So, technically, it doesn't exist in that manner. But as a concept, it's as real as we believe it to be, just as so many other things in our lives.
