Why expect preferential treatment just because you have a child. It was your choice, not mine...so don't think I owe you something just because you were able to reproduce.

By saying 'a big baby' I think you mean a bonny, healthy baby. Well this kind of behaviour is quite prevelent in some societies. But people can be cruel if they want to, on any issue, why just a child. If someone of your age in the neighbourhood gets into a good school, college, better job, gets married before you do,etc, the list is endless. People expect others to give them a preference. That's how this society is made my dear. But you don't let them spoil your mood. Such people are just not worth it. They wouldn't even know that you are feeling bad or if they do they'd probably be happy. So, just let it go.

I agree to a point I think that all children not their parents deserve preferential treatment. Children today are the ones that are going to take care of you when you are older but yes many parents do think that just becasue they have a baby they can just plop the old tit out anywhere and start feeding, stuff like that does irritate me too. What i hate is hearing how someone got raise or someone gets to take time off more frequently only because they have children that makes me sick.

I have four children and have never received preferential treatment for being a parent. Why should you get special treatment because you don't? Thats your choice.

I have two children and I think I am as special as my bachelor neighbor or as that couple living near me that do not have children.
I don't know a person who believes that he or she needs preferential treatment for having a baby.

Stupidity isn't monopoly of a few people but is available free of any charge.Most big babies turn out to be Pygmies as grown ups(socially).
