a pc was meant to be a learning resource, not really for gaming, why do people play games on pc, if u play games on pc, then you will get so used to it, then you wont want to do the necessary and educational things. things that really count!!

A mid-range PC has better graphics than a console, and can be used for other things besides games.
And for gamers who want the best gaming experience, a high end gaming PC blows consoles away.
By the way, maybe a PC "was meant to be a learning resource" for YOU, but for me it's an all-purpose tool for games, communication, work, and maybe a little education.

One...i prefer a PC to console. It doesn't matter which console you have, the graphics are no where as clear or sharp then on a PC.
Two...the PC being used as a learning source is nonsense. I use my PC extensively for research as well. Judging by the general makeup of the kids I see here though who apparently use consoles...they wouldn't know what do to with a PC if their life depended upon it. And its a good thing it doesn't. Just go to History or Homework Help. Three-quarters of those mopes could easily find the answer they're looking for if they took the time to use a search engine and research something. However they don't. So...what do they use their PC for? Obviously tending to their MySpace accounts...chatrooms and asking for cheat codes for fifty dollar games when they should be making the effort to play a game using their minds instead of cheating...which prepares them for some pretty nasty surprises in life.

Pc has a greater variety of possibilities - not just gaming.Gaming is also displayed in greater variety on the Pc , including more developers and a increasing community.Console games get programmed on the pc , console is just a different format.Pc having better graphics and the fact that you can actually scale youre graphics and almost everything else make the Pc the winner.

Better graphics. Easier /sometimes free access to online games. More choice of games.
