Why is Ellen likeable and Rosie isnt..?

I like Ellen..and I hate Rosie..how do you feel on this subject..and it has every thing to do with gender studies...

I am not god nor have I ever stated that..I more the devil if any thing..but thanks little ms spoh..and there are women in the military you know..its not all men..

Amazingly enough...not all lesbians are the same. In fact, they each have their own personality!!

Dear God... What in a hell have you found to be so likable about miss Ellen? In my opinion, she has no sense of humor at all. By some cosmic joke she was given so many opportunities in life for absolutely no reason at all. Just imagine if she was straight, no one would know she is alive. That career could only take place in America, where being in the right place at the right time somehow substitutes for a talent. How could you even put her name in the same sentence with Rosie's. Rosie for all her shortcomings is greatly qualified with her stage presence, extensive comedian skill, public conscience and passion for the truth. She had done million things and most of them were for regular American people. She also would never disgrace herself on national television slobbering all over herself about a puppy, when there are thousands of military families in desperate need of someone to stand up for their well being and simple dignity of survival without a father, brother or a husband, who was taken away to fight this useless war.

Edit: I didn't mean to imply that there were no women fighting this senseless war, I was trying to make a point about military families needing some conscientious celebrity to give them a voice.

BTW, Dear God... is only an exclamation of surprise... I assure you, it has nothing to do with you personally.

I personally find them both to be obnoxious. If I had to choose between them I would definitely choose Ellen tho. Rosie is probably on the top 10 of my "People Who the World Would be Better Off Without" list. Ellen's just on my "Annoying People Who Are Not Funny, but They Think They Are" list.

Rosie wasn't much different than Ellen when she started out--kind, good-natured, interested in worthy charities--blah, blah, blah--I think Rosie just ended being too much "herself" for showbiz, whereas, thus far, Ellen seems able to "mug" for the camera, and act happy, etc, no matter what.

ALTHOUGH, her crying the other day was a little over the top! I still like her though.

Because Rosie's persona is such that she has to be abrasive and in-your-face, whereas Ellen is just fun to be around.

I'd rather hang with Ellen than Rosie. In fact, I'm gonna call Ellen up right now.

Rosie makes it a point to be rude and abrasive. I don't see how the women on the view kept from just telling her off. Putting up with her is definitely a test I would fail.

Ellen is white-bread, smarmy and wants people to like her. Rosie is loud, abrasive and doesn't care if people like her.

Ellen has a better sense of humor and diplomacy and Rosie is someone with her own agenda - that and she's not funny to me at all.

Ellen’s more likable because she’s not mean-spirited. I feel for her getting emotional on the air the other day. I don’t know why once you adopt a dog you don’t have the right to give your dog to somebody else. That’s plain wrong.
