Honestly??
Once a month I DO pick up and dust under AND around ornaments and things. All the other times it is around them. I have NEVER dusted the tops of my doors, but now I feel I must just see what is living up there lol

I give a quick swipe with a Feather Duster every day.
Once a week i pick up things to give them a dust underneath .
I have never dusted the top of doors
Lifes too short for that

I find if you leave it long enough everything merges into the same colour. Therefore it is only necessary to dust once a month or so.
It helps if you have alcoves or deep corners, no one sees them so it only needs a dust every 2 months. Although I have to say the ornaments do get moved then. My fault for collecting pigs!

i dust over things weekly but every 2/3 months i do a propper clean everything washed/moved any decorating tuch ups done due to nicks in the wall paper holes in walls and paint too thin i knowtice on the way

Yes I do it properly hun, cant stand mess! Once a week, everything gets polish and dusted! keeps it all nice!
