i think you would say something like "its a boy" or "its a girl" its not hard. just pratice saying it in front of a mirror first

I didn't do anything clever. Have you picked out a name yet? If so you could send out an email saying it is a message from your unborn child then in the message, talk about how you can't wait to meet everyone and to make sure and give Mommy and Daddy the best advice they can. Then sign it with the baby's name. That should clue in most people.

do you need to tell them ?
if you still want to ..why not send everyone something blue or something pink and let them figure it out .

through amniocentesis, ultrasound or chorionic villus sampling. try checking websites about those, coz not all of those i've mentioned may be applicable to you.
