While he is doing this as a mocking joke of the process, I’d imagine he create quite the stir.
As far as him running as super-republican…I believe he is going to run on both sides….

i know, right?! he would have had my vote in 2 seconds if it was for real.

it would be pretty complicated, though... who would he run as? the real stephen colbert, or the super-republican colbert?

I'd like to believe he was serious but after reading his editorial in the NY Times its pretty obvious he is simply mocking the current field of candidates
