The question sounds like a polite way of saying the level of intelligence is decreasing. This indicates that new members lack either intelligence or the ability to ask an intelligent question. I believe that the intelligence level shown by new members will increase with their exposure to the wisdom of the older members of Y!A. In short, we are a group that, over time, increases the general knowledge and wisdom of the population as a whole.

Going down that road means that the average intelligence of those on Y/A will decrease as the population grows. No slighting on those on these boards, just that nasty law of averages kicking in.

Is it hypocritical to answer yes even though I have only signed on recently? I apologise if I dilute the simmering pool of intellect, but I was curious. And there are still some pretty interesting answers, even if they aren't always related to the questions......
