myself, i wouldn't be able to go through the discomfort & pain of pregnancy & childbirth in order to perpetuate the genes of my rapist. i've been raped, so i know how hard it is to just deal with THAT, but to become pregnant by such a monster, to have part of him growing inside of me where he violated me... that would be horrendous. i would be unable to see it as my child, as i had no say in it's conception. it would be a constant, daily reminder of the attack. like the rapist lived inside, violating me every day. if abortion were not an option, i would probably commit suicide, as it would be too much for me to bear. i very nearly did so after being raped.

⥠You know honestly I can't give you a yes or no answer, because I've never been through it. Often we say that we would or wouldnt do things and then when the actual situation arises we change our mind. I dont believe in abortion and I dont believe that I would abort my baby... I mean that poor child didnt do nething wrong, the man who raped did. However being raped is such a traumatic event and to find out you are carrying that man's child I imagine is absolutely horrific... I think that I'd deal as best as I could with the pregnancy and when the baby came if I felt I couldn't deal with it then adoption may be an option... but I dont believe I could ever kill an innocent unborn child....

That is a hard decision
I have a cousin that happen to. She had the child and gave it up for adoption. The couple who adopted him, knew about the rape.
She could not have an abortion or she could not rise the baby
A lot of people who are against abortion, said that rape does not count.
Some people could keep the child, some people could have the child, and give it up, and some people can to have the child grow in them and have an abortion
It's a hard decision, do what you can do

I would go through the pregnancy. If I wasn't at a point that I could handle a baby I would choose adoption.
Actually, that's how my husband was conceived. My mother in law was raped and she kept the baby and I'm so happy she did!

It may be difficult to go through the pregnancy, so it's the woman's personal choice. If she doesn't feel like she can do it, then abortion may be the right thing to do. If she decides to carry to full term, she should consider putting the baby up for adoption. The baby didn't ask to be made.

I would first get a CVS test or amnio done to make sure it wasn't my husband's baby. If it wasn't his, I would abort. I don't think I could endure a pregnancy like that. This is the only situation in which I would get an abortion, though.

Depends on how the person felt. I expect that I would feel too violated to go through with the pregnancy. And what if the child was told it was conceived by rape. How horrible would it be to live with that knowledge??

if i got pregnant I would go through the pregnancy because I don't beleive in abortion. People can do what they want, though. its there decision and i cant make that for them.

I think I would carry the baby and give birth. After carrying the baby if I still thought that I could not raise it I would probably give it to a family member to raise. I don't know I just think it would be so hard to get rid of a piece of you.

I would abort it. I know my personality and I would hate the child like I would hate the rapist. I would not mentally handle carrying a child I hated even if I were to put it up for adoption.
