For examples, just look at all the Q&A on here regarding illegal downloading, and the weak rationalizations offered for its justification, such as: They charge too much, the artists make more than enough money, I can't afford to buy CDs, the record companies are greedy, music should be free, and on and on.

Cheaters are those who cheat -- who break the rules, and from the terminology, we'd assuming in a non-criminal fashion.

Blaming the innocent is a common occurrence -- the whole idea of a "scapegoat" being centuries old -- and standard practice in politics, business, law and many other fields.

Personally, I think people should admit when they are wrong -- and that the systems should allow for honest mistakes, so that people can safely admit when they were wrong -- and that leaves the people who were intentionally breaking the rules the only ones punishable for breaking those rules.

My say is that the majority of them have found their way to Y/A and Y/A protects them.
