This is never a good sign that you are getting this error.
When you boot up press I believe its F2 to enter BIOS ( your computers brain)
You will want to go to boot order. If you see Internal HDD as your first thing listed then its going to be your hard drive that either needs to be replaced or you just need to reformat it.
If its a dell you can run diags on the computer but pressing F12 at bootup and you will need to select diags this will run a test on the computer. Write down every error that you get. If you get an error call up the computer manufacturer and tell them the error and if its still under warrenty they will replace it.
If no error you can still call them up and they can walk you through reformating the hdd.
Hopes this helps! good luck!
OH...if you can ever get it to boot up into your windows BACK UP ALL YOUR INFO WHILE YOUR IN WINDOWS.
Because 1. if it needs to be replaced you have it backedup and 2. if you reformat it, it is going to delete EVERYtHING.

If there was never an operating system on there, (Windows XP,.Windows Mellenium, etc), then you need to install one.
If there was an it just booted up to that one day, there might have been a registry error that changed the boot device settings. A common power outage at the wrong time can cause that, its a random occurence.

Hi. Your BIOS may be set wrong. Change the boot order to Hard drive first. If this is not it you may have a failed hard drive.
