You know if you think about it money is just a green colored piece of paper that we give so much meaning to for no reason. Why didn't society just make it that we trade and we can all live an American dream? Selfish

There are too many money hungry people in this world with so much pride that will make sure that we are not equal to them.

People who don't have enough money as compared to what they think they should have,think exactly like you.You can't expect the clock to go back and start with barter -system.I agree that there is too much importance attached to money,which is a sad reflection of insatiable human greed and slacking human values.It can't be helped,more so in a capitalist society.American Dream?More GDP,more per capita income,USA economic super power ,enhanced quality of life and much more,mean essentially more MONEY.So be it.

We can't just trade things.
Think of this, what if a dentist needed food but all he had to trade to the farmer were dental tools?
Bartering just won't work in today's society.

trade what? what do you think money does, it allows trade.... if you had to trade services for everything what exactly would you be able to give for a house or for milk or for a car? you trade your labor for money and then trade money for goods.. thats what trade is all about? dumb
