A developing country needs to develop its industries, transportation, education, business, farming, technology and just about everything else.

Developing countries have a shortage of people who know how to read and write, how to work in an industrialized society and in particular a shortage of mangers and leaders of all types. Education provides the training for all.

We have traveled to Ethiopia a couple times this year to do some work and in doing so the need for education is dire. The area we are working in is the poorest of the poor. The families quite often don't have income to feed their families, pay their rent, more less buy school uniforms for their children. If they do have, education is the answer to a way of survival in most developing countries. With education they have a good chance to earn a living. Instead of begging, being supported by extended families members, stealing or selling their bodies for food and rent.

This is a brief answer to a very complicated problem, that is quite sad.
Hope it helps, Good Luck.
