I'm re-watching the japanese grand prix where kubica came into a corner alongside lewis and colided with him causing lewis to spin. I didn't notice at the time but kubica did get a drive through penalty for it. I'm asking because i must have seen at least half a dozen incidents like this duing the season where drivers have made contact and spun out, but only kubica seems to have been penalized for it.

it's not that the FIA has something against Kubica. It's because of WHO Kubica collided with, who turns out to be their golden boy Lewis. That was the first time Lewis was bumped and spun and the stewards immediately took action.

Yeah you're right a lot of collisions have happened throughout the seasons and some of the collisions were caused by one driver, like Kubica. But penalties weren't imposed on others except in Lewis' case.

I believe that the penalty was unfair. It looked like a normal racing incident.

There was something similar between Nick and Ralf in Nurburgring 2007, but there was no penalty. It was said to be a normal racing incident. But when Kubica and Hamilton collided in a similar style to Nick & Ralf, why is Kubica being punished?

In conclusion, i believe the penalty was unfair.
