I agree with some of the people here, the QB isn't really the problem in Atlanta. The O -line is worthless. No QB would look good when he is under constant pressure every play. And because of that Atlanta can't run the ball, which usually opens up the passing game. That's why Vick was so important to that team. He can flat out run.
Both Harrington and Leftwich can be good or at least servicable QB's if put behind a stable O-line. Leftwich has shown that before. Joey has never had that chance. Kinda sucks for Joey in that respect, he's viewed as a bust when through his whole career he's been on teams during their worst years in history respectively. I bet give him a decent O-line and receivers that can actually catch a football and he would at least be acceptable.

The Falcons need to rebuild the team. I don't think QB is the only problem they have. Remember that the receivers cannot catch the ball.

I say draft a QB and get some good receivers.

Daunte Culpepper

He is what Vick could never be. He has a strong arm and thinks about passing first, rushes when he needs. I hope for Daunte's sake that he doesn't sign with them in the offseason because the Falcons are a train wreck and will take the Browns or Lions spot for a punching bag in the years to come.

Did you watch the game on Monday? The receivers just gave up on Harrington. They quit. That team is going no where fast and I'm not sure any quarterback can help them as they are today.

The Falcons problems go a lot deeper than the play of the QB. Harrington has actually played pretty well.

The answer to QB is in this coming year's draft. The QBs they have now are just short term, they need a QB for the future, and this year's draft is full of possible drafts.

These are just a few.

There is no answer...they put themselves in this situation by relying on Vick and never getting a decent back-up. If I was the Owner / GM of a team, and my "star" quarterback was constantly in trouble, constantly getting busted with drugs, and never even making the playoffs...my first instinct would have been to get a backup who knows their stuff that way when Vick screws up (on or off the field) you already have a contingency plan.

Falcons fans / management put too much faith in that dirtbag.

That entire offense is in disarray. The line can't pick up a blitz and I can't believe Harrington is still in the league. Their recievers also drop a lot of passes which is suprising because I though Michael Jenkins was a good pick coming out of the draft. I also think Petrino is a poor play caller but most college coaches are in the pros.
