Yes, they can. If they win out, they will go to the Rose Bowl.

With the way they are playing it is possible. They would need to win out for the rest of the season. Ohio State is the only other team with a perfect Big 10 record and since they play each other like every year a win there would give them the Big 10 Championship and a Rose Bowl berth. That is unless the National Championship is played at the Rose Bowl this year. Then there is not chance.

Michigan still has a good chance of winning the Big 10. Yes, they lost an embarrassing game to App St the first game of the year. But, they are undefeated in the Big 10. They have an annual game with Ohio State at the year of the year, in the Big House. So winning the Big 10 isn't out of the question by any means! So if the win the Big 10 they're in the Rose Bowl, since a BSC Championship game is out of the question for them.

As long as they win the rest of their games, they'll make it to the Rose Bowl. The only team that can stop them is Ohio State.
Not to say the other teams will be easy but:
-Illinois is still young and still trying to get good. It will be a good fight but Henne will manage the win, with or without Hart.
-Minnesota. Need I say anymore?
-Michigan State is inconsistant. They'll put some points on the board but not enough to win.
-Wisconsin is in a down year. Another good game but another win for Michigan.

If they can run the table for the rest of the season I think they can. I hate all of these questions....Yes, UM lost to App State...does that mean that they are automatically worse than 90% of the teams in 1A ball...of course not...it means they had a bad game... They are the exact same team that they were at the start of the year when they were ranked #5...if there was a playoff system in college football I'd still put money on michigan.
All they have to do is play well and beat ohio state in a few weeks....

All they have to do is win out and they are there. Ohio State is the weakest #1 team I have seen in a long time, and if Michigan gets by them, they will be undefeated in conference play....and that will make them the Big 10 champions.

They have a realistic chance to go to the Rose Bowl, all they have to do is win the Big 10 and they're pretty much guaranteed to be in. Just please beat USC this year if you do make it!
