There are no new planets "in our Solar System." All of the new planets being discovered are outside of our Solar System and that is why they are called Exoplanets. All of the stars that we see at night are like our Sun and have the capability to posess from 0 to 10 (or more) planets orbiting around them along with some assorted moons.
In the past, due to the brilliance (brightness) of the various stars, we were unable to see any of those planets orbiting them. However, some new star observing techniques have been developed which "over time" allow planets to be detected when they pass between the star itself and us (the observer). A distant planet's passage between the star and us causes a fluctuation in the light from the star and that fluctuation may now be measured, quantified, and extrapolated to provide information on how large that planet must be, and what it is made of.

All the planets in our solar system were formed at roughly the same time as Earth So there are no 'new' ones.

There are no new planets in our solar system.
But under the new definitions there are now 3 dwarf planets.
Pluto, Ceres and Eris.
Of these, only Eris is newly discovered. Ceres is (was) the largest asteroid between Mars and Jupiter, now reclassified as a dwarf planet. And you know Pluto already I think.

there are no other new planets, where the hell did you get that idea? Well astronomers found out that ceres, pluto, and eerie, are all dwarf planets meaning that they are mainly asteroids.
