I like it a lot

I personally don't care for the name Liam. It mostly has to do with the fact that I knew a boy named Liam when I was a kid who had a lot of trouble in school. He was bullied, was over-weight, and even though I felt bad for him and tried to be his friend sometimes, whenever I hear the name Liam, his face and his troubles come to mind. I couldn't name my child Liam, but it does seem to be gaining popularity and I know 2 little boys with that name. I say if you like it then it is a perfectly fine name.

I like it, I was going to name one of my characters Liam (I write stories). I didn't because if it ever gets published my classmate named Liam will think I had a crush on him!

I like it a lot. I don't think it's too popular just yet. I also like the English version, William with the nickname Will.
