No, unfortunately without spending too much money, for which by the time you do, it will be the price for a new one. The electric machine is very different from the gas. Some can be both, but they are more expensive.

Yes, it can be done. But, as indicated by one of your other answers, it would cost more in both parts and time than buying a new one.
