All numbers that are whole, as in: 5, 175, -234

When there is a decimal, then the number is a "floating" number

5, 175 and -234 are integers.

any whole number (0,1,2,3,4,...) and its negative is an integer. fractions and decimal numbers are not integers.

5,175 and -234 are integers. The other 2
are only rational integers.
