fake ploy to sell timeshares?
They tell you to come in the mall to pick up your prize. when there really is no prize at all.
They just want you to look at their 15 min sales pitch, give you refreshments and pitch a timeshare sale to you.
When a guy called me to tell me I won, and i asked it was for timeshares...he pretended it wasnt...then i was asking too much details..and he hung up on me. I hate that sh*T.
My wife signed up. ugh

Not only that, OTHER companies can get your number too and harass you that way. That is why I never sign up for anything like that, most likely your not going to win anyway, and you will get horrible telemarketing calls for years ;P

Always read the fine print on the drawing entry card. They have to reveal that they're going to call you.

My wife is always doing this same stuff and I've finally said I'm not going to any sales pitches.
Remember, some timeshares are not bad deals if you vacation consistently at the same time & place.
I also noticed that the price of the timeshare comes down dramatically if you keep saying no.

I hate the cold calls to my home, but ya know, my husband and did one of those timeshare sales pitch, it got us a free weekend, free meal for two @ a restaurant and it only cost us 30 minute and gas to the resort!
