Gay all the way baby!! If I were a guy, I would definitely be getting with other guys. But since I'm just a boi (tom-boi), I enjoy getting with other bois (lesbians like me).

if you were to have asked me this question when i was 16 i would have said I choose to be straight. I would have chosen that simply because of the hard times i went through when coming out and bing in high scholl. The teasing, the fights, the fear and the shame are all factors in fact that i just wish i was "normal" and straight.

Asking me now however... I wouldnt change me for anything or anyone. I would totally choose to be a lesbian. I love my life and i love who i am. I have an amazing girlfriend who i plan to someday marry and have a family and a life with. And i am not saying that i couldnt find that in a man, but if it werent for me being a lesbian I would have never found my wonderful girlfriend.

Well I'm heterosexual so it's hard to imagine anything else and I think I would choose to be heterosexual for the simple fact that I appreciate being with someone that has different ways of thinking largely because of his gender and making babies is easier, but if there were no men left in the world, I think I would probably enjoy some aspects of being with a woman.

I don't think thats a fair question to ask who knows if you can choose your sexual preference. You can choose who you love I think alot of lesbians and straights and bisexuals are whatever they are I think the problem is exceptance not sexual preference.

It is obvious Adam is a little messed up.

I don't think he understood the question.
We can choose who we have sex with, but we can not choose who we prefer to have sex with. he is confusing the two.

I am bi. I can choose who I have sex with. I find both sexes attractive, but I can't choose to find only one of them attractive.

I would remain bi, because in reality the majority of the population is bi to some extent. Getting them to admit it or even realize it is the trick.

I would remain homosexual, as I am. My partner and I are very happy -- we have been together almost 16 years -- why would I ever trade that?

I think, but am not sure, that you would have gotten the same answer out of me when I was in my teens. There were times when you would not have, but on balance I think you would have.

Kind thoughts,

Reyn

Great Question! So happy to answer it!

For eight years I tried to change myself; tried to make myself be attracted to women.
For eight years I prayed for some sort of transformation.
For eight years I hated being gay.

If I could choose which sexual orientation?
I would choose Gay.
I love being me. I like men, and I like liking men.
Those eight years were too long!
I would not change myself for anything.

Respect yourself! Value yourself! Love yourself!

If I had the choice? Not gay, that's for sure. Why would anyone in their right mind want to have to deal with all the EXTRA baggage and crap that is associated with being gay, these days? Certainly not me. I think it would be a nice change to see what it's like to be considered by main stream society as ''normal''.
I'd like to know what it's like not to be judged when someone first looks at me. To know that I don't have to hide anything at work. That I can't be fired because of who sleeps next to me at night. To be able to have kids without having to deal with scrutiny. To have the family that had abandoned me when I came out. Just to know what it's like to have that Norman Rockwell family you see at Christmas....at least just once.
