Michael Vick, he throws it harder than the receivers can catch it. If you watch the game, the football bounces off the receiver over and over, its a main reason they don't win.

The Cowboys will struggle in the 2009-10 season. First they lost defensive players and lost T.O., who went to the Buffalo Bills. If the other players don't step up, such as Jason Witten or Roy Williams, this team will struggle and not make it in the playoffs again. I pick that they will be worse than last year's performance. This is what I think the standings in the NFC East are going to be in the next season and the keys to a better season: New York Giants 13-3 Washington Redskins 10-6 Philadelphia Eagles 7-9 Dallas Cowboys 6-10 Keys: Put pressure to the QB and WR Increase running game Wide recievers to step up since T.O. left Dallas Make sure the offensive line protects Romo so he feels more comfortable making big plays or passing without an INT

When you say throws the football the fastest I am guessing you mean quickest release.. that would be Marino. He did not throw the hardest ball though. That would have to be Favre. The strength he puts behind the ball is the stuff of legends! Another candidate and I know I will be crucified for this is Garcia. When he was in Canada he twice broke receivers hands!

No one at all has said Peyton Manning? Are you kidding me? Laser guided rocket arm? You guys just must not be watching the games. He'll knock your pads loose.
You guys claiming Tom Brady has a strong arm are just comparing him to Chad Pennington or something. I have never once witnessed Tom Brady knocking a receiver down with a pass or making their pads pop. Are you kidding me? What is his career long pass? Not yards, don't count what Moss does after the catch. You guys are obviously just jumping on the bandwagon and forget that Mr. Strong Arm Brady won his previous Superbowl's on the strength of a leg, not his leg. Now that I look back, everyone picking Tom Brady just uses his name. They don't have any accounts of something he has done. It's just "omgz moss Superbowl td record lolz" Watch a game.
Bret Farve is a gunslinger, he doesn't have a strong arm. If you actually watch a game, his receivers do most of the work. He throws short passes. Lots of screens and shuttle passes.
Peyton Manning has been going down the field his entire career. He may not be dating supermodels or posing for covers of GQ, so you guys might not appreciate someone that works very hard or better yet, the TV guys are telling you how great the Patriots are and you listen. That's fine. Just try to add a little meat to your argument. "omgz tom brady"

I've heard comments from Favre receivers and there is no doubt that Favre throws the fastest ball around. In fact, I'm almost positive that former Packer receiver said that. Plus, over the years he's broken more of his receiver fingers throwing the ball then the mob. I've also seen some of the different TV stations put a radar gun on his throws, and I think he can throw something around 70mph.

Nobody today compares with Marino. Quarterbacks use about 5 frames of television picture to throw the ball, whereas Marino only needed 3. Nobody else has ever been recorded faster.
If you mean "today", the answer is pretty vague - and may not even be a starter. There are some great quarterbacks playing today, but specific to fastest release, it's not as good a crop - all Manning, Favre, and Brady do is create winning franchises, break records, and win games, hahaha.
Of the three, I think Brady has the fastest release - still not his strongest strength, that would be his decision making, IMO. Favre has the strongest arm, even still, and Manning is the best overall quarterback - possibly ever to play, but all three are certainly first ballot HOF, without playing any more games.

Tom Brady ARE YOU KIDDING ME
The answere is BRETT FAVRE (thank you Stonewell) To add to that he has broke 8 of Donald Drivers fingers and they have to be individualy wrapped when the weather gets cold because of the gohst pains in them. Tom Brady - Dan Marino LOL
Scarecro your half right but i guarantee you Favre can throw a ball longer and faster than Payton Manning by FAR.He won every throwing contest he has been in,and not by a little. He is second in yardage thrown to Dan Marino, and you are telling me his arm isn't strong.I dont no where you come up with that?

That's a interesting and tough question. I've always known that Favre and Elway could throw the ball about 75-80 yards, but velocity is a little harder to guage without a radar.

I rememeber hearing a few years ago that a rookie QB could throw the football 80 yards on his knees. I dont think any other QB could do that, but I forgot who it was
