Bad practice,to thaw and refreeze any foodstuff.

No. You should never freeze fish in the first place. Eat fresh the day of purchase, or soon after being caught. Keep on ice, but do not freeze. Eat within 36 hours if on ice. Fish gets a mushy bland taste if you freeze it. It basically ruins the flavor and texture.

Not to be rude, but do you realize you've asked this question in a pet's forum? Unless you had a pet fish named Walt Disney that you froze hoping that a cure for China Disease would someday be discovered, you might want to ask food related questions in the proper forum:)

However, you should not thaw and refreeze any animal product intended for human consumption for reasons previously stated:)

first 2 got it right, just a harbor for bacteria and food born illness. Not to mention fish would likely be mushy or rubbery.
