We have been told she comes from a Iraqi/Arab family which implies a strong Mulsim/Cultural Background. She has been shown to be proud of her culture and worried about her family.

Do the writers of these shows even for one second stop and think about the characters and the backgrounds that they create for them? Also Why oh why does every one fall into bed on the first date any way?

You're right. They really need to consider character backrounds and heritage before having the characters do things that could be against their backround.

The writers dont think for one minute. What they think is that it creates a great storyline for the show. For me Patrick is getting a little bored for the show. What they should do is bring inmore charactors to play from. I still think that theyshould bring back Tom and his son TJ and let him be some surgeon who has lost the love of his life and he caomes back to Port Charles and have him in a trianlge with either Logan and Lulu or Sam and Lucky.

I wasn't shocked at all.

Besides, GH is all about sex and mob stuff. Too bad they can't write another supercouple.

Could they take advantage of the Luke/Tracy thing any LESS than they already do?

Remember when Bobbi first saw someone...some old love..I forget whom now...she slapped his face??? All this build up to a great moment, only to ruin it for fans.

I waited and waited for Liz and Lucky to finally die off. Rathern than an exciting ending...they killed it slowly, to where it put us to sleep as they died out like a campfire.

Now did she hear about Yucky and Spam...get mad, then run into a hot scene with Jason? Finally!?? Nope. Blah blah blah, Liz is too good, too cold yuck.

Sorry, venting.

I don't like Leela so she can have Patrick. Yawn.

I'm seriously annoyed with the whole Patrick, Leyla, Robin thing. Blek.

I don't think we know enough abotu Leyla to know what's in character for her; she can be proud of her heritage and still be thoroughly Americanized.

Patrick is the one I think who's acting out of character. And to answer your question, no, the writer's don't stop and think.

It's a soap opera, that's what they do. I wish they would stop all the bed hopping, but that's what people want.

Well they should have taken that into consideration but it is a soap and I guess they needed the drama.
