I ride an 05 Shadow Spirit 750. I recently purchased a set of 14" ape hangers. I know which risers to purchase. What I need is a list of all other parts I will need to complete the project. What cables, wires or ANYTHING else I will need. I'm trying to do all of this over the internet 10000 miles from home and would like to have everything waiting when I get home from deployment. Any help would be appriciated. Also, if anyone knows for sure what length to order the cables it would be a HUGE help. Thanks!

have someone at home put a yard stick across the handlebar grips on the bike now & measure the distance to the top of the triple tree, subtract that from the 14'' rise on your apes to get the additional length over stock you will need for your clutch &brake lines & throttle cable .you will probably need some dogbone style clamps for the throttle cable & maybe the others so you can clamp them to the bars to keep them from flopping around & hitting your tank. the wires you can just cut & solder new wires on,you will probably need 10 or 12 different color wires & heat shrink wrap for each connection dont rely on electrical tape & snap connectors.especially if you run the wires inside the bars. might be better to wait untill you get home so you wont have to yell at anyone for measuring wrong.it takes only a week or so to get parts ordered on the internet.

Longer throttle cable
Longer clutch cable
Longer front brake line
Longer wiring harness for handlebar mounted switches, or wire to splice in to make them longer.
A check on the local laws to see if they're even legal that high where you live.
