I have an answering machine..

I've got both. We've got a very annoying answering machine that grabs calls before the v-mail can, so my v-mail only kicks in if I don't answer call waiting. That answering machine is going a way soon.

I don't have a landline phone. I have two cell phones, and for my home phone I use Vonage. Loooove it. Once I'm using the v-mail all the time I'll be able to check my messages from my email. I like that feature.

Voice mail. I don't like the answering machine feature, because if we get a power outage, it sometimes turns itself back on "Auto", and then we miss the messages. You can pick up Voice Mail from anywhere, even from another country. Sometimes, there are problems with that too though. There have been times where it took 2 days or more for a message to appear - some bug no doubt.

On my home phone I use both. Answering machine when I'm not here and if I'm on the phone, the voice mail kicks in.

Voice Mail sucks...

I have an answering machine that I rarely pay attention to. If I'm not home, you're outta luck! :D

HELLO~~~~Can You Hear Me Now ??

I have no home phone and so no answering machine.

Hubby has his cell phone & # & I have mine.
We have the answer & text message shut off, since we have our phones with us at all times. We do not answer calls with no ID of name or #, for tracking.

Whom ever is driving, does not talk on the cell phone. EVER !

We love this set up. The home phone had so many extra taxes & charges. Many people are dropping their landline for that reason alone. ~~ Have a Blessed Day Everyone ~~~~
