Alright...I am totally confused now....I put her in the box, she was there for 2 days and I read to let her out after 24 hrs if she hasnt delivered, so I did that...but ive noticed that the males are all around her...and she is constantly trying to get away from them, she seems more "squared off" now does this mean she is ready to deliver? PLEASE HELP, I dont want to stress her out more then she already is!!!!!!

Thank you Clara. I didnt mean I wasnt interested in breeding just that I got her this way and I dont want to stress her out anymore then she seems to be...I dont have time to read up on all there is to now about breeding them I just needed a few questions answered. Like why are the male guppies chasing her around relentlessly, does this mean she is ready to give birth?? I have plants in the aquarium and she seems to be hanging out around the heater.
Once again THANK YOU CLARA!!

Place several surface plants in the tank, like Java fern or moss. This will provide a comfort zone for her to give birth in, if she's pregnant.
Male guppies naturally chase any available female guppy for mating purposes. Unless you're prepared for hundreds of guppies eventually, just let nature take it's course. Depending on the size of your tank, you might try a tank divider to separate the female.
And if you only have the one female, you should get a couple more, and get rid of some of the males.

If you're not interested in breeding the fish, then I would just leave her and let nature take it's course. Moving her back and forth will probably stress her out more than the males will. You could possibly add some more plants to your tank to provide more places for her to hide. I came home from the pet shop with 2 pregnant platys a few months ago. I just let nature take its course and the fry were eaten up by the other fish. They got a free meal and I didn't have to worry about raising more fish. Hope this was even just a little helpful. Good luck.

Constantly moving a live-bearer female when she's close to delivery is a sure way to mess up the parent and the fry. If you are serious about breeding guppies, then do the research and stop torturing your fish. Start by getting a good book on breeding live-bearers and read it.
