Maybe it's the "expensive" product doing the attracting, try a homemade solution... which is basically 1/2 water, 1/2 clear rubbing alcohol.

First, never use windex. Second run out an by a laptop screen cleaner I use CompuCessory Model 24219 wet/dry cleaning wipes for LCD and Laptop screen. Using both the wet and dry wipe allows you to really clean off those nasty finger prints Using a product that is not designed for your Laptop screen will ruin the top layer of the laptop screen and leave it streaky for ever. Good luck.

Wiping with a microfiber cloth is usually all that is needed to remove dust from the screen. You will not be able to eliminate the dust but expensive screen cleaners are usually for removing fingerprints and other material, they are not necessary for just dust.

Then stop wasting your money and just wipe the dust off with your hand.
There's really nothing that'll stop the dust from being attracted to the screen so either you keep putting up with it (and constantly removing it) or use it where there isn't as much dust (the dust will also block up the cooling system of the laptop which might result in overheating).

Get a can of clean air and just give it a burst dont wipe the screen daily. the fine scratches you cause by wiping dust off will ruin the covering in time just clean compressed air unless you have fingerprints and what not.

The only thing you should clean your screen with is water and a soft cloth then dry with another clean cloth.

Stop using the 'expensive' product rip-off and go to your local dollarstore and purchase the "swiffer" knock-off sheets.
$1 gets you 20sheets... I use 1 sheet every other day. $1 for 6week supply of cleaning.
