There was an article about this in the paper this morning, and it gives you all the info you`ve asked for.
According to the article it costs each household £350 a year to cover the costs of the immigrants!
Extra Costs of Immigration
-------------------------------------
Local Authority Race Relations - £3.1 million
Higher Education Race Relations - £6.7 million
Commission for Racial Equality - £32 million
Translation Costs - £100 million
Ethnic Minority Awards Scheme - £169 million
Security - £174 million
English Lessons for Immigrants - £280 million
Cost of treating immigrants with HIV - £330 million
Bordor Controls - £690 million
Money sent home by foreigh workers - £1.4 billion
Asylum support and processing - £1.6 billion
Cost of immigrant crimes - £4 billion
Total Cost: £8.8 billion
So they contributed £6 billion, but cost £8.8 billion
On top of that they have majorly contributed to the high house prices, as they`ve increased the demands for housing leading to a shortage. The government are going to have to spend more money to build them houses, and green belt land will have to go to make way for them.

I'm sorry I believe you are making a point which I truly believe in. Why does Governments bring out figures to protect their failures they tell me that immigrant has brought about a 6 million pound into the country then tell me the cost to every house holder is three hundred pounds plus How dare they. They don't mention, the problem now caused at schools. hospitals, the roads and so many other things caused by immigrants and unfortunately the last thing they mention is the affect on, if I dare mention the word, the English people. How terrible

Greed and more greed. Employers don't want to pay a decent wage for many jobs so there they are, immigrants, most not legal, willing to do the work. People earning money from this don't care about the crime, the gangs or the fact that these people can collect all kinds of benefits and they can't even speak English. I swear to God if I hear one more time on a call I'm making, press 1 for English I'm going to go postal. On a VERY serious note, I'm alarmed that we may just be turning our country over to immigrants and we will, in a few years, be the minority. Wake up American politicians!! Get your head out of your *** and do something to solve this problem.

Damned if I know - all I know is, I used to live in a nice area and because of all the PC Brigade nonces I don't even bother going out at night anymore - Polish, Lituanian, Hungarian and Asian gangs roaming the streets.
Our local benefits office is a magnet for all of them - dozens and dozens of them queuing up for handouts. Crime is rife - Public Services, well that's a joke. Overcrowding - 10 of them round the corner in a two bed house. It's a joke.
Our town has become a sh**hole and what makes it worse is - a friend of ours was made homeless and went to the council for help - and I AM NOT JOKING - she was refused anywhere and was told by the officer in charge - 'You're not the right colour' - she is white.
I REITERATE - that is not a joke - I was there. When I questioned his comment - his reply was - 'I'm a realist, you should be to'.

It is often a misunderstood fact that Britain has always made a profit from Immigration...even illegal immigration!
Our supermarkets are full of vegetables and other foodstuffs that are supplied directly through 'black market' workers and have been for years.
The so called 'black economy' has always turned in a healthy profit for the treasury, though I take your point, I doubt if their are any figures to equate this with any on costs associated to it.

Immigration is not the problem in this country, it is greedy employers. Housing problems? Then why not blame greedy private sellers and greedy private landlords.
However, having now read claimbackbankcharges response, I must say that I'm convinced now. If the Daily Mail says so, it must be true!

the money generated by immigrants should be partly used for nhs, housing etc so in effect they pay their own way, and the balance of the money could be used for other local services.

yup but there isn't a problem and immigration is good for the country, and we need more to come over to help with all the jobs we wont do. talk about the bloody obvious, the problems were there for all to see ( providing they had at least one brain cell ) what a mess.
