I got my "seed money" from licensing an energy product that I had invented to a government agency.
With this money, I opened up two energy related businesses and the profit margins from both of these investments allows me to buy companies that are not doing well, and turning them around so that they are no longer in the red ink but the black.
I keep these companies for two years, and then sell them to a group of Japanese Investors that pay me quite well for a very profitable business.
Lately, I have found myself putting together a package deal with my lawyers to go after and legally punish a group of corporate bullies, I really dislike bullies and now because I have done all my homework, I am ready to go after these bullies and show them they are not above the law. I am doing this, not for the financial gains, but for personal satisfaction.

(Retired now, but...) I used to be a Stenographer (NOT a Secretary LOL.)
I transcribed legal/medical decisions and findings (as well as conveyancing of all evidence provided) in regards to appeals presented to the Workers' Compensation Review Board (an arm of the Supreme Court of Canada.)
Before that, I was a Freelance Sports Journalist, after a two-year Journalism/Print Program from Niagara College of Applied Arts (1978 - 80, in Canada.)

I am taking a year off before entering grad school. I figured I deserved it, considering I have spent the past 5 years in school, and next fall I will be starting another 6.
