So many that the effort of trying to enforce the law is considered futile -- in other words, the mistakes need to far outweigh the valid applications of law -- and we're nowhere close to that level of corruption.

Mankind needs laws -- because we are too uncivilized and too greedy and too hate-filled and selfish as a species to function without them -- and as long as the laws do more good than harm, we will continue having laws.
