Cousins. I just saw it on NBC. Mrs. Cheney is writing a book and tracing the family tree. She found out that Barack Obama and her husband have a common relative and the two are cousins! They are 8th cousins! Wow!

I died laughing. Can you imagine the look on ol' uncle Dick's face. He must have had his 11th heart-attack when he found out he was related to a democrat. :P (I bet y'all thought I was gonna say - something about being black.. that would have been too easy!!)
But why is the media so quick to announce that the relationship is on Obama's mothers side - the white side. Do they wanna make sure we know there was no Sally Hemings hanky-panky in the slaves quarters with great-great-great uncle Cheney. hmmmm

I found out that I am related to Dr. Ian Smith.
Twins run in our family-- he is a twin too!
This most likely wont change the opinion of the general consensus...

Look into it. You will see that all these men in power are all related in some way or another. I'm sure Dick and Bush are family too. It is not new news to me.

I heard it to. It doesn't however amount to a hill of beans. It will not effect the way I vote (if that is the plan) at all. I couldn't give a rat's flying behind about who is related to who.
