The smoke indicates, that slot your computer RAM or RAM slot will be useless. Now connect this RAM in other slot and check the system response, there will be no affect on others parts of pc. When you have connected the RAM in other slot, and turn on your pc, If your pc boot with 4 beeps then problem in RAM, simply change the RAM.

U are COURAGEOUS. If u got married don't do it to ur wife. If it won't fit u should have stopped there. If u don't switch on the pc then other components won't be affected. remove the burnt ram. put new ram in another slot & see if pc works. Then ur motherboard have no problem. But still the slot may have. Then u have to put the new ram in the slot & see if u can run pc. If everything goes fine then ur lucky. puting new ram in burnt slot won't do anything to new ram. u will boot or u won't.

The RAM stick is garbage. Throw it out.

"PC smoke Came", my guess is it has already damaged the motherboard as well.

I doubt you will be able to use it. and if you have damaged the slot, which the smoke indicates, that slot will be useless. You will have to use only one stick of RAM or change your motherboard. If your computer works at all.
