Are you surprised that Pelosi is being abandoned by so many Dems as she mishandles the Turkey "genocide" vote?

How badly has this fiasco engineered by Pelosi hurt the Dems' image?

Most legislators support the resolution because it is based on truth but the timing is bad and that may erode the support. Turkey has lobbied heavily against the resolution because it obviously means a great deal to them. The Armenians in the US are equally adamant about the resolution.

I have every confidence that Pelosi will handle this delicate matter properly.

Mishandles Turkey? That isn't her place or her job or,for that matter what she is doing. The only mishandling of Turkey has been by our government's interventionist foreign policy.

Because Turkey was once seen as a useful Cold War ally, the U.S. has since ( 15 years after the end of the Cold War!!!)continued to turn a blind eye to everything Turkey hs done in the past and continues to do in the present.

Turkey attacked a staunch ally,Greece and we did nothing. They have pursued their own agenda with respect to the Kurds and will continue to do so and care nothing for what we want on this issue. They take our arms and hand outs and pursue their own policies. Great ally!!But who is smarter and who is stupider?

Pelosi and the other Dems AND at least 8 Republicans were doing their job. This is something that has been promised over and over again to Armenian AMERICANS!!by both Dems and Reps, including G.W. Bush in a letter to the Armenian community when he wanted their campaign contributions.

I am not supporting any Dem candidate so this is not a partisan defense of Pelosi.

I read the link and didn't see anything that would support a statement to the effect that Dems are abandoning Pelosi.

that's a tag team journey. good cop undesirable cop. do no longer think of for a 2d it relatively is not orchestrated. What day is it? Pelosi is against the 2013 timetable laid out by utilising applicants. The Speaker went to date as to assert on television she spoke with the Iraq President for my section and he's of an analogous opinion. US could be out by utilising the tip of 2008. Who died and made her boss. The Syria element? did no longer Turkey mess with them too over the years? For HRC to proceed to regulate her stance she looks at risk of different u . s . a . leaders. All waiting to take great element with regard to the possibility. for my section. the two uncontrolled. Explosive and un befitting to characterize a e book club no longer to indicate nationwide coverage. After ninety yrs, come on. yet study into the region that Turkey is working right here. She cut back off the Brits already over the comparable element. invoice permit it bypass. He in no way made waves. Bomb Iraq, who me... oh you mean the Persian Gulf conflict... Iraq #a million???

I've often wondered why the Dems felt the need to write something into the Congressional record that was already in the history books...for what purpose?

Pelosi was a good stone thrower, fighting the republicans and trying to stop whatever they did. Now that she is in charge, she is clearly showing that her leadership skills are only obstructionist in nature. She has to be productive and only thing she seems capable of doing is causing fights in congress. A good skill for a House Minority Leader not for Speaker.

Well one thing looks for sure. . . . even if Hillary were to win(God Forbid) I think it's safe to say that Pelosi will be replaced . At least it looks that way .
Only last week she supported the removal of the word 'God' from a kid's requested dedication letter for his grandpa . Then , magically , or perhaps after getting slapped around by her own party , she renegged and said it was fine .
This 'lady' has got to go .

She's a joke. No wonder Congress is at 11% approval.

Even the statanic Jimmy Carter says Pelosi is seriously wrong on this issue.

It should come as no surprise.

Pelosi and company laid out a list of 'changes' they would bring when elected in 2006.

To say they 'miss-handled it is giving them too much credit.
They didn't handle anything at all unless you call raising the minimum wage a land-mark accomplishment.

you know that a number of Republicans had suppported the resolution, right?
There is nothing your link with anyone questioning Pelosi's competency.

Its not surprising.
When they had that fair out in san francisco and those gays and sick freaks were in that picture in leather outfits and sex toys all over the table depicting the last supper, she stated that was "freedom of speech".

Shes a complete moronic idiot.

Whoopi Goldberg said that she would "do her" on some show.
So someone likes her.
