I'd go back to the 60s. When people were starting to 'get loose' and everyone and everything wasn't so politically correct. Just to see how things were and how people acted towards one another and to see if things were better or worse in terms of having a fun, laid-back life. (ie. No cell phone, laptop, internet, tv was different, cars were different, girls and boys acted differently to one another, families acted different (ie. housewives stayed at home cleaning and watching the children while man brought home the 'bacon' haha) and sport was played more for fun, pride and passion rather than for money in this professional sporting world). I am from New Zealand.
Wow, just realised I have obviously thought about this before!!!

I suppose a lot also depends on who you could go back as !!
Some of the historical times seem a bit scary to me , all those battles and wars
I suppose I would really like to be back in the 1930's and be attending a cricket match to watch the great Don (Bradman) score one of his many hundreds

I'd like to have been in Berlin, Germany in 1938, and I'd want to have in my possession a high powered rifle with a scope and silencer. World War 2 never would have happened and millions of people wou;dn't have been slaughtered.

I'd like to go back during the Holocaust - i know it was the most horrible period in the world's history.. If there's a way to stop it.. I'd like to be there... I just hate to think that it actually happened!
Also, I'd like to go back during the Renaissance period with all those works of arts emerging one after another... I'd probably one of those artists... (^_^)

I would go back to when my parents were younger, so i could see if they really were the angels they pretend to be, and if their parents really did make them do loads of chores etc... lol
