Apparently, asking 'When you're feeling sad, who / what makes you feel that it will all be OK?' (in P&S) makes me childish.

Everyone has a different experience, and expectations of this site, so each to their own. If it causes no harm, then what does it really matter if something is not your cup of tea? Why not just ignore, move on, and find something more to your taste?

Yeah, all the time. That is what makes me Notorious....because I'm never serious and that bugs people sometimes. But do I care? No, is the answer :D xx

Take no notice kirsty I have never been criticised however had the sneaky reported violation which was well out of order some people ask a question and want the truth then do not like the truth.
I tend to go to what floats by boat I used to love news section but trolls spolit that and I normally go to questions like you have just mentioned can't see harm in sharing feelings and thoughts.
I like to help out in homework and some people are just so rude to the students wanting help.
PS: thank you Angel that was so nice what you said about me

I have been criticised by at least one poster every time I've asked a question.
I think people get a feeling of power out of it. Many people feel they have too little control or power in the real world, but on here they can say things with few or no immediate consequences. That gives them a sense of power.

I get criticized on a regular basis for my Q's or answers but I don't take it to heart as I know everyone has their own opinion whether I like it or not..I like the diversity of P&S and the variety of people it all represents,.....you have made great points in your post..=)

Criticism is OK, I'd rather be called a complete plank than people having a knee jerk reaction to hit the report button.

Yes, I have. Yes, people should just move on. But, anonymity can bring out the ugly in people.

(Wow, just read the answer you're referring to. That person who was so rude obviously has personal issues. Poor dear.)

...lol...oh yes..just recently ...apparently because the answerer has no sense of humour and took a light-hearted question seriously...I am *shallow*...

funny how the other answerers seemed able to see the obvious humour...

btw..Your Q 'when you're feeling sad..' seems a perfectly reasonable one...even 80 year olds feel sad...are THEY childish?

Some people just enjoy hurting people weither a little or a lot :\ They can't pass the oppurtunity to make someone feel worse about themselves then they do

I really hate that. Criticism is fine but some users here tend to be very harsh. So tactless, in fact.
