Dear Brother, your first enemy will always be within you in the form of ego, envy, jealousy, greed, anger and pessimism. Until and unless we take of these enemies within us, the external enemy cannot harm us or take advantage of us. Infact, the external enemy is more easier to deal than the internal enemy because it not that easy for a person to accept his or her mistake and to rectify it. Your internal enemies are more dangerous because they are there with you wherever you go. You should always be on your guard against your internal enemies.

The first enemy in my life is any person who doesn't believe in religion. Everyone should believe is some form of higher power. All religions lead to some form of heaven or afterlife.. Having no tie-in to a higher power makes that person lost to the world.. Even satanist have an afterlife, not a good one, but they do have one.

The enemy is in yourselves.You are making your life or marring your life.You have a thinking faculty,only after what your mind approves you are going to act,THE EXECUTOR OF THE ACTION IS YOU AND YOU ONLY. Procrastination and lethargy in you in my view is the first enemy and definitely not any one referred in your question.

I've come to learn that it's usually the ones closest to you that hurt you the most. But, I've been treated really good by my friends and sister, perhaps too good. So, in fact the one who is hurting me the most right now? I think is me. I hope you don't really believe you have enemies. That would really be upsetting. lol

i agree with kcchaplain. the first, the last and the only enemy is satan. no illusion this. this thingy has the capacity to blind the people from knowing the Truth of Life.
the battles we fight on the physical level are temporary. true enemy and a true battle is fought only on spiritual level. pray we and i win there.
