I have just had my 30th Birthday, My current workplace I have been at for 3 years. I have never caused any problems for anyone I work with and never made an enermy. I work well with them when I have to and have great interpersonal skills. I am polite and friendly to them. For my Birthday collection I got only £10 from them. I think this is tight and so do my family and close friends. I am upset as this shows whatthey think of me. What should I do? They never invite to the pub either. I am upset.

I didnt get so much as a card for my birthday from where I work!! You're lucky you got something, people in the workplace might seem like your friend but at the end of the day they are just a load of 2 faced b*tches, you probably had 2 close office mates give you a fiver each.

You could suggest you all go out for drink at lunchtime to celebrate and you will donate the £10 to the kitty.
I've never worked anywhere that I've received presents on my birthdays - most places it was the custom that the birthday boy or girl treated everyone else to cakes for afternoon tea.

I think that you are putting too much of a money value on what they feel about you. Maybe that is how you present yourself to them. Maybe you could plan a pub night and invite them instead of waiting for others to make the first move. I am sure that if you seach, you will figure out what might turn them off about you. I already have my opinion.

It is pretty tight but then how do you know that your workmates arent skint at the moment. Why care what they think, its your real friends and your family that matter. If they want to not ask you to the pub then thats their loss!

happy birthday by the way :)

Personally, I think that you should be greatful that they gave you anything. Most businesses do not give out birthday gifts. So take it as a bonus even though it was not much. Be appreciative that they were thoughtful enough to give you anything at all.

they are no longer... because of the fact of all the detest right here interior the ME u will see sometimes Jews adversarial to Arabs and Arabs to Jews in Israel yet many times it relatively is not undesirable. I study a report saying that 87% of Israeli Jews are happy with their lives and 80 3% of Israeli Arabs are happy with their lives.... if there became into apartheid i ought to assure you those archives could have a greater advantageous than a 4 factor distinction (that's purely approximately no longer something)...

As you go through life you will find that there are people who attract and people who dont. You sound a bit reserved to me and possibly a bit of a clever dick. If you want to attract friends then act stupid, everybody loves someone who makes them feel Superior I am a bit of a student on human behaviour
