Questions about the McCanns?

I can't believe people are slatting the McCann's, what happened to innocent until proven guilty? No-one knows what they would act like or what they would do if they ever lost a child, I think they could be forgiven if they are not doing everything everyone thinks they should be! Could you think straight? I think they are guilty of not looking after Maddie properly, just going out and only checking on her every half hour, but no-one deserves to lose a child! There are a lot of you that think the McCann's have done something to Maddie but none of you are coming up with reasonable explanations for your arguments! If it was me, I wouldn't stop the campaigns until I had my daughter found and the people responsible brought to justice. As for people that are giving the McCann's money to fund this, thats up to them who they give their money to. The truth is always going to come out, and if no-one can come up with a reasonable explanation for your suspicions, keep them to yourself.

I'm not saying people don't have the right to debate, just giving my own opinion, was just saying that if your going to accuse someone at least come up with why!

Lyn, if they have no reasonable explanation keep their suspicions to themselves. Yeah maybe I have put it the wrong way but I didn't actually mean no-one can talk about it. I have not seen the bigger bosom thing, but I think it is out of order if she did say that, I'm not sticking up for them on everything like I said they shouldn't have left their kids alone, but I just think that if it was me I wouldn't be able to think straight so I would be doing some things the wrong way. They might be guilty but I think until there is some strong evidence to this then we should try and think about what the McCann's are going through.

As much as I love some of what you have said - I think that you may have put it on the wrong site. On this site people are allowed to put down their opinions and so many people have done.
I was going to put forward a lenthy case for why I think Madeleine has been abducted, I have done so a few times by now. I won't do that now because i cannot see people changing their opinions. Some have been more sensible than others. Some seem to be remembering their neglect in the first place and simply saying that it is their fault. I won't argue with the neglect arguement, it is correct.
But do we need to keep slating them all the time? Why do we need to keep on bashing them? Remember there is a little girl to find.

The help from the media and our government is thoroughly baffling. in case you evaluate one situation on my own, how approximately Darfur? confident it has had some insurance, yet what share anybody is suffering there? what share are harmless little ones? The insurance has been minute while in comparison with the Mccann's. I say the Mccann's and not Madeleine, because of the fact the full media circus centres on them. the father and mom truly even point out her call, very unusual truly, i'm stunned that not one of the mainstream tabloids have not picked up on that yet. i'm getting offended while i think of of each and every of the little ones in the worldwide with relatively crap lives. new child infantrymen, new child prostitutes, little ones working in sweat shops, little ones kidnapped, their is a huge style of evil in the worldwide. Why cant the media and the celebrities care slightly greater approximately them? Oh confident, we do of path have comedian alleviation bi each year, superb....

What you have to remember is that I don't think people think that they was that soft as parents to leave 3 children ages 3 and under Alone in a foreign country to start with.

On that day Gerry was playing tennis all day while
Maddie and other 2 was in children's club,so the parents never spent anytime with them hardly because on the evening they was left behind alone while they went out.

Staff have said they never left the table as much as they said they did.
They jogged on the beach after still leaving the other 2 children with people.

I know that this does not say they killed Maddie but it gives us a picture that they was not very soft parents.

As i said before it could have been an Accident not deliberately hurt.

There has been allot of money put up for someone to come forward nobody ever has.

There is 0 evidence the other way around of a kidnapping, people have to accept that things like this do happen in life, like i do not know for sure myself nobody knows yet.

I know exactly how I would react, however, if I was them I wouldn't be in that position because I would NEVER leave my son alone at that age, or for some considerable time after.

yes like you I wouldnt want campaigns stopped till my child had been found but to flog the posters?????? If they are not guilty of manslaughter or murder then they are definately guilty of neglect.
Of course it is up to people who thjey give their money to. I gave to the fund but was so angry when Gerry boy wanted to use it for their high flying defence. I also give to Big Issue and I don't know whether the person will use the money to buy drugs booze or food. But I do not judge them, I think they at least are attempting to raise money for themselves in a constructed manner, not sitting begging. The Maddie fund is for a definate purpose, to find Maddie, not to help the parents jet around the world or pay for law fees.
If my child was missing I would NOT be able to fly round speaking to people to keep her memory alive. But that is just me, we are all different. But why not send brother, he has plenty to say or Kate's mother who has put in the Daily Record that Kate has said she wishes she has "biiger bosoms" so she can appear more "mumsy" and get more support. I was sickened to read that!

I can't believe that you are so concerned with people slating the McCanns. Does it really matter what a load of people say on a question forum? I'm sure that no one here is making much of an impact on the case and they aren't related to you presumably so why worry?

Campaigns do not help find a child. Looking for them does. And I agree with Tim it has been more about them then her even in Gerrys daily blog. If my child was missing I certainly would not sell missing child posters. I would give them away. I do agree however innocent until proven guilty but I still cannot agree on some of the ways they have handled things since their child went missing. How many different people have supposedly been spotted on that path that night around the time Madeleine went missing yet none of these stories are consistent? You say its up to them who they give THEIR money to. It is not their money. This money was donated to Madeleine as far as I see it. As far as campaigns, thats I all have seen. Campaigning to raise more money. Maybe you could shed some light on exactly what they have done to search for Madeleine. Everything else is being leaked I would certainly think that would be leaked also. I don't know if these parents had any hand in their daughters disappearence outside of the neglect but how people do not see many things as odd is beyond me. When Madeleine first went missing alot of people slated Kate for her appearence and how she kept herself up. Hair Makeup etc. I didnt think it was a bad thing because she did have 2 babies to make an appearence for as well. But now I think a little differently. She kept her self up nicely when her daughter went missing. Since she became a suspect she looks a mess. Greasy hair, no makeup, the clothes are frumpy and a mess. I find that really odd that for nearly 4 mos she kept up her appearence but suddenly she isn't since becoming a suspect or is it because she is being advised to look ,like that because of what everyone on the internet is saying. This is all just to bizarre to not raise suspicions I think.

I have been on the fence throughout, and the only serious problem I have with the McCanns is that they neglected their children, and they don't think they've done anything wrong. When they were made suspects, I became a bit wary because they must have been made suspects for a reason. Aside from that, I am not going to pass judgement on their guilt or innocence, because it's not for me to do, but I will never condone them leaving those three babies alone.

But what you must remember is how they kept changing their stories all the time, why would they do that? Its a bit fishy don't you think? And if nothing else, they should be charged with child neglect for leaving three babies under the age of four years old, how irresponsible is that for goodness sakes!

I also agree and the only reason they are talking about the McCanns and not Maddy is that the press and prosecutors only talk about the McCanns.

I hate the fact they neglected their kids, i would never do that with mine but this doesn't make them guilty. The McCanns have always tried to put Maddy first but the papers will do or say anything to sell papers and this is why the focus isn't always on Maddy.

I hope she is safe and well but found soon but wonder what physiological damage she might had suffered. My gut instinct is that she is no longer with us ... i hope not...
