Why don't the women who say, 'My dog before my hubby" get an equal dose of criticism? I personally admire this gentleman's commitment to his dog. The dog deserves it for his love and loyalty to his master. Frankly it would be quite childish for a wife to get jealous of a dog.

I totally agree... if you are a dog.
If not, it is nice to care about your dog though, so as an animal lover I respect that.
Maybe let your wife go though so she can find a person who prefers her species

Well it might be your pet, but think about it. Wife is human, she got feelings too. Put yourself in wifes' shoe try and focus, it is your own decision. Outsider like us should not even comment about your question.

I just read an article called "Petophilia", it's all about people taking their love for their pets to an extreme level, mostly in place of human companionship.
I'd say you're going beyond canine enthusiasm, which isn't that uncommon.

yupp if i had a wife and she said her or the dog i choose the dog!! dogs can do lots o stuff your wife cant (take a dump on next doors yard etc) lol:D
